Today's Google Doodle - Chaim Nachman Bialik
Hi Everyone!
Today's Google Doodle honors Chaim Nachman Bialik, who was
one of the pioneers of modern Hebrew poetry and came to be
recognized as Israel's national poet.
I posted the Google Doodle at:
www.jr.co.il/t/doodles/index-2014.htm
I also posted on the page a video of Arik Einstein singing the
Hebrew song: "Bring Me in Under your Wings"
The lyrics were written by Chaim Nachman Bialik.
FYI - I graduated from Bialik Elementary School which was named
after the poet. My mom a"h, taught Hebrew at Bialik School
from 1964 to 1982.
I also upload the doodle to my Facebook album at:

Educational Resources for Tu B'Shvat and Flora in Ma'ale Adumim
Hi Everyone!
Tu B'Shvat, the New Year for Trees, falls on the 15th of the
Hebrew month of Shvat, January 16 this year (5774 / 2014).
This Jewish mini-holiday is of major importance to our
appreciation of Nature and our relationship to it.
I posted on my website a large selection of educational
resources about Tu B'Shvat:
www.jr.co.il/hotsites/tu-b-shvat.htm
Tu B'Shvat is 11 days away, so I decided to take photos of
flora in Ma'ale Adumim.
I posted the photos online at:
www.jr.co.il/ma/pic/2014/ma847.htm
I also uploaded copies to a Facebook album at:
http://bit.ly/flora-in-ma
Please share the resources and photos. Thank you!
