Language videos uploaded to TeacherTube

Several teachers emailed me that their schools block access to YouTube and that I should upload the language videos to TeacherTube. Thanks to everyone for the suggestion.

Sefer Torah Dedication and New Bet Midrash

On Sunday afternoon, May 20, Ma'aleh Adumim celebrated the dedication of a new Bet Midrash located at the S'deh Chemed school and the dedication of a new Sefer Torah.

585 pictures of the Jerusalem Parades
Hi Everyone!
This week there were two parades in Jerusalem in honor of the 40th anniversary of the reunification of Jerusalem.
The first parade was the Regional Councils Salute to Jerusalem Parade. This took place on Tuesday evening, May 15, on the eve of Jerusalem day. I took pictures of this parade on Yaffo Street starting around 6pm.
The second parade was the Jerusalem Flag march which started a little late due to rain. This took place on Wednesday, May 16, Jerusalem Day. I took pictures of the march on Yaffo Street, in the old city and at the Kotel (Western Wall).

I added 10 new topics to the free, educational website:

186 pictures of the Lag Ba'Omer Parade and Celebration
Hi Everyone!
On Sunday, May 6, there was a Lag Ba'Omer parade / celebration
in Ma'aleh Adumim. The parade started at 16:30 from Kikar
Yahalom and proceeded to the Canion (mall). The celebration, sponsored by Chabad of Ma'aleh Adumim, included an acrobatics / juggling show.
In addition to taking pictures, I was "volunteered" to participate in three stunts including the "cut the carrot in the mouth / sword throw" and a balloon / fire torch stunt. I survived, but next year I will stay out of volunteer range :-)

Educational websites about Lag Ba'Omer
Hi Everyone!
The Jewish festival "Lag Ba'Omer" is Sunday, May 6, 2007.
If you are flying over Israel on Saturday night (5th) and you
look down out of your plane, you will see thousands of bonfires
dotting the landscape as far as the eye can see. There
are various customs and explanations for these celebrations.
