Today (May 30) I took photos of the Regional Councils Salute to Jerusalem Parade. The 161 photos were taken on Agron Street where the parade started.

Photos of the Lag Ba'Omer Parade and Celebration and a Fire Juggling Video

On Sunday, May 22, there was a Lag Ba'Omer parade / celebration in Ma'ale Adumim. The parade started at 17:00 from Kikar Yahalom and proceeded to the Canion (mall). The celebration, sponsored by Chabad of Ma'ale Adumim, included a juggling show.

Educational websites about Lag Ba'Omer
Hi Everyone!
The Jewish festival "Lag Ba'Omer" is Sunday, May 22, 2011. To avoid desecration of Shabbat, celebrations this year will take place Sunday night and Monday.
If you are flying over Israel on Sunday night (May 22) and you look down out of your plane, you will see thousands of bonfires dotting the landscape as far as the eye can see. There are various customs and explanations for these celebrations.

"Lights of Hope", 720- meter-long flag on the walls of the Old City of Jerusalem
Hi Everyone!
Last night, the eve of Israel Independence Day, I was in Jerusalem and on the way home I took photos of the "Lights of Hope", a 720- meter-long flag on the walls of the Old City near Jaffa Gate. The flag project is to raise awareness and funds for at-risk youth.
