Hi Everyone!
Last night, I went to the International Festival of Light exhibition in the Old City of Jerusalem.
I did not get to view all the light exhibits but the video and photos will give you a good overview of the festival.
The video is about 16 and a half minutes. I placed the Rainbow exhibit of the Hurva Square at the end of the video.
The same group that made last year's Solaris exhibit made the Rainbow exhibit. It is very nice!
I posted the video and a link to the photos at:
http://www.jr.co.il/videos/jerusalem-festival-of-light-2018.htm
Enjoy!
Please share, Thank You!
Shabbat Shalom,
Jacob

Photos of the Jerusalem Book Fair
Hi Everyone!
Today, I went to the opening of the Jerusalem Book Fair at The First Station.
It was fun and I always get a kick out of seeing the popular English books that were translated into Hebrew. The Hebrew Disney titles always make me smile. I took photos and posted them online at:
https://history-of-israel.co.il/jerusalem/2018/jer555.htm
I also uploaded the photos to a Facebook album at:

Enjoy the photos.
FYI - The Jerusalem book fair started tonight and will continue till June 16. Admission is free and there is free entertainment for the kids.
Please share. Thank you!
Have a good night,

Free online: Sermons The Year 'Round by Rabbi Bernard L. Berzon
Hi Everyone!
I grew up in Brooklyn, New York.
During my high school years and college years (72-80)
I lived at home and attended the shul Ahavath Israel
on East 29 and Avenue K in Brooklyn.
The sermons that Rabbi Berzon z"l gave where very good.
He would talk to you as opposed to above you. His love
for Israel and the Jewish people was very evident in
the words he spoke.
Over 39 years ago Rabbi Berzon gave my father z"l
a copy of his book. Even though times have changed,
since the book was published 40 years ago, the messages,
anecdotes, and stories are still very enjoyable.
I felt that many people that otherwise would not have
access to this book may benefit by having access to it
on the Internet. I contacted Jonathan David Publishers
and they gave me permission to scan, format and post it
on the Internet.
