Hi Everyone!

Today, we celebrate the 168th Anniversary of Eliezer Ben Yehuda,
the father of modern Hebrew.
Israel celebrates "Hebrew Language Day" on the 21st of Tevet
which is the Hebrew date of birth of Eliezer Ben-Yehuda.
This year the date falls on Shabbat, so we celebrate on Thursday.
The purpose of this day is to promote the Hebrew language
in Israel and around the world.

 Hi Everyone!

Israel marks Hebrew Language Day every year on the birthday of 

Eliezer Ben Yehuda, the father of modern spoken Hebrew. 

This year, the Hebrew date, 21st of Tevet, falls on December 25 - Shabbat. 

Activities throughout Israel will take place on Thursday, December 23, 2021.

In Honor of Hebrew Language Day, The Academy of the Hebrew Language,

together with Tnuva, printed Hebrew word quizzes on the side of milk  cartons.

This week, I went to local supermarkets and took photos of the milk cartons.
